MARTIN ROWLEY

Independent Non-Executive Chairman

Mr Rowley was a co-founder in 1996 of TSX and LSE-listed First Quantum Minerals Ltd. First Quantum is now one of the world’s largest copper production companies and the owner of the Ravensthorpe nickel project in Western Australia.

He was previously Non-Executive Chairman and Director of Lithium One Inc., which was acquired by Galaxy Resources Ltd by way of a Plan of Arrangement in July 2012.

He is also Non-Executive Chairman and a Director of Forsys Metals Corp, a TSX-listed company in the uranium sector.

MARTÍN PÉREZ DE SOLAY (I.ENG)

Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer

Mr Perez de Solay is a qualified industrial engineer with a career spanning engineering, operational improvement, banking, finance and Executive Management.

Prior to joining Orocobre Limited, he was the President and CEO of Petroleos Sudamericanos, an oil and gas producer operating in Argentina and Colombia. He oversaw new operations and assets, and led major stakeholder initiatives.

Prior to 2011, Mr Perez de Solay was CFO and head of Corporate Development of GeoPark, an oil and gas operator in Argentina and Chile. He was a key member of the Geopark Executive team that established its asset base and subsequently listed the company on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM). Mr Perez de Solay joined Geopark from Citigroup where he had spent a decade in institutional, corporate and restructuring activities.

Appointed as a Director of Orocobre on 18 January 2019.

ROBERT HUBBARD (BA (Hons), FCA)

Independent Non-Executive Deputy Chairman

Mr Hubbard was appointed a Director of Orocobre Limited in November 2012 and appointed Chairman in July 2016. He is also Chairman of Healius Limited and a board member of RACQ and LifeLine Australia.

Previous roles include, Non-Executive Director of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Limited and partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers for over 20 years where he served as auditor and adviser for some of Australia’s largest resource companies with activities throughout Australia, Papua New Guinea, West Africa and South America.

RICHARD SEVILLE  (BSc (Hons) Mining Geology, MEngSc Rock Engineering, MAusIMM, ARSM)

Non-Executive Director

Mr Seville is a mining geologist and geotechnical engineer with over 35 years’ experience in the resources sector including over 25 years’ as either Managing Director or Executive Director of various ASX, TSX or AIM listed companies.

He is Orocobre’s founding Managing Director, and oversaw the Company’s IPO in 2007 and first production at the Olaroz Lithium Facility. Mr Seville was also instrumental in negotiating the Toyota Tsusho Joint Venture in 2010 and obtaining favourable financing from Japan.

Mr Seville is Chairperson of Agrimin Limited, and Australian fertiliser development company and a Non-Executive Director of ASX100 mining company Oz Minerals which is a copper-focused, global, modern mining company based in South Australia.

JOHN TURNER

Independent Non-Executive Director

Mr Turner is the leader of Fasken Martineau DuMoulin’s Global Mining Group, a full-service law firm with office in Canada, the UK, South Africa and China.

He has been involved in many of the leader corporate finance and merger and acquisition deals in the resources sector primarily through companies active in Africa, Latin America, Eastern Europe, Canada and Australia.

Mr Turner has also successfully acted for the financial arranger or sponsor of several global major resource projects.

He is also Non-Executive Chairman of GoGold Resources, a TSX-listed gold and silver mining company and a recipient of the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal for his services in the autism sector.

LEANNE HEYWOOD  (BBUS MBA CPA AICD)

Independent Non-Executive Director

Mrs Heywood is an experienced ASX Non-Executive Director, with broad general management experience gained through an international career in the mining sector, including 10 years with Rio Tinto.

Her experience includes strategic marketing, business finance and compliance and she has led organisational restructures, disposals and acquisitions.  Additionally, she has had significant experience in complex cross-cultural negotiations and international customer and stakeholder relationship management (including governments, communities and investment partners).

ALAN FITZPATRICK

Independent Non-Executive Director

Mr Fitzpatrick has more than 47 years of technical mining industry experience in project and construction management, engineering, maintenance and plant operations, including acting as a project director for various major mining companies both locally and internationally.

Mr Fitzpatrick has held numerous senior positions with leading engineering and mining companies such as Bechtel, BHP, Gold Fields and Newmont Mining Corporation.

His experience includes the role of Director Global Projects Engineering and Construction for Newmont, Project Director on Newmont’s US$1.8 billion Batu Hijau project in Indonesia, Project Manager for Phase III of BHP’s Escondida copper project expansion and Principal Consultant for the US$7 billion Las Bambas project in Peru.

FERNANDO ORIS DE ROA (MPA, Harvard Kennedy School of Government)

Independent Non-Executive Director

Mr Oris de Roa is a business leader with a history of developing and operating large enterprises within Argentina. His international career in 1970 with large trading company Continental Grain, working in the USA, Spain, Switzerland, Brazil and Argentina eventually rising through the ranks to be responsible for all of Latin America.

As Chief Executive of S.A. San Miguel, Mr Oris de Roa was widely credited with turning the company into the largest mot profitable lemon products company in the world.

He has also held the role of Director of Patagonia Gold Ltd and was appointed as Ambassador of Argentina to the United States serving during 2018 and 2019.

FLORENCIA HEREDIA

Independent Non-Executive Director

Ms Heredia has more than 28 years of experience in the mining industry and is currently a senior partner of the leading Argentinian legal firm Allende & Brea where she heads the Energy and Natural Resources area.

She is an expert in mining law with extensive experience advising financial institutions and companies in complex mining transactions in Argentina and has repeatedly represented lenders in all mining project finance arranged in Argentina.

The principal focus of Ms Heredia’s work is natural resources, infrastructure and environmental law and finance law related to these areas, assisting multiple companies established in Argentina.

Ms Heredia is an active member of the International Bar Association, and is currently Vice Hari of SEERIL (Section on Energy, Environment, Natural Resources and Infrastructure Law).
